So, today my parents bought me a 5th generation iPod Nano as a graduation present. I took it home downloaded iTunes and plugged my iPod into the computer only to find that the computer didn't recognise it. I thought "ok, I must be doing something wrong, I guess I'll look at the support site on the internet". I went on there and did the basic trouble shooting. When that didn't work I took a look at the advanced trouble shooting. This is when I started to get pissed off. After spending a few minutes looking in the advanced stuff I realised that Apple only exists to shit people off. The section I was in was labelled very specificaly "iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows". However, half of the "solutions" required the iPod to be successfully connected to the computer (what the fuck did they think I was in that specific section for?) and the other half of the "solutions required the iPod to be fully charged (how the fuck do they expect me to do that when the stupid piece of shit won't connect to the mother fucking computer?). Luckily Mum also has an iPod and she has lent me her wall charger. I am going to try again once my shitty iPod is charged.
